A major cause of poor air quality are what California Air Resources Board and the EPA call gas powered small off road equipment (e.g. mowers and leaf blowers) that we use for primarily for landscaping. In California, these types of equipment generate more PM2.5 than all the cars within the state. It's stunning to think that the relatively few mowers and blowers generate more air pollution than all the cars in California. This huge source of pollution is not limited to California and impacts many of us throughout the country.

Electric lawn equipment provides everything people need to manage their gardens and none of the air pollution.
