Flavored Tobacco Products

This grade tells you if your state has taken action to limit or prohibit the sale of flavored tobacco products. Flavored tobacco products play a key role in attracting and addicting kids to these deadly products. In 2024, about 88% of high school student and middle school students who vape used flavored e-cigarettes.

Tobacco companies have also focused their marketing of menthol cigarettes on certain populations, particularly Black communities. This has resulted in close to 80% of Black persons who smoke using menthol cigarettes. States and local communities must act on flavored tobacco products by ending their sale in all locations.
