Ranjana Caple, MPH is the Director of Federal Advocacy at the American Lung Association in Washington, DC, where she directs and implements federal advocacy activities on lung health and tobacco control issues. In this role, she serves as the Lung Association’s lobbyist with Congress and the Administration, developing and executing strategies on federal appropriations, lung diseases, tobacco control and public health infrastructure. She is also a part of the annual LUNG FORCE Advocacy Day and Respiratory Advocacy Day planning team. Ranjana earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Health at Saint Louis University and her Master of Public Health at the George Washington University. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking and finding new recipes to try (and share).
