I have had asthma my whole 31 years of life. I have a son who is 3 years old. My best friend. My mentor. My world. My father passed away last year in the Philippines due to COPD. 10/20/2019 will forever be a day that breaks my heart. I wish there was more I could have done for him. I really wish they had better treatments over there for him. I'm not placing blame just saying. I however have been trying to find out how to become an advocate for COPD. I lost my daughter 7 years ago to SIDS and that's something that I work on every day. She was 4 months old. My father was just 3 weeks shy of his 70th birthday. I truly in my heart feel like other then being the best me I can. Doing something for others and more importantly doing something for folks with COPD would make my daddy proud. I would love to get started in COPD advocacy.
