Christine D

Christine D., OH

Hello, My name is Chris and I have non-small cell lung caner. I am living proof that cancer is not a death sentence. I was a smoker until the day I found out that I had cancer. I quit when I left the doctor's office that day.

I was treated with two rounds of chemo and six weeks of radiation followed by 12 months of immunotherapy. There were days when I didn't have the strength or energy to do anything at all.

With an amazingly supportive husband (he was there for every chemo treatment) and my work family, I remained positive that I would make it through this.

Almost four years since my diagnosis and I am still here. My nodules are stable. I am not a cancer survivor, I am not dying of cancer. I AM LIVING WITH CANCER!
