I smoked for 20 years but I was smoke free for 20 years after. I went in to get my shoulder looked at, turns out it was a torn rotator cuff and I went across the hall for pre op tests and they caught the lung cancer in the chest x-ray. I had my lower left lung removed, it was in one lymph node out of 11. I did 3 months of chemo and it metastasized to the brain. I have had 13 tumors removed with gamma knife. I have one now, clean Pet Scans since 2014. I am hopeful this is the last of the brain tumors.
