I was diagnosed February 2017 with stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer. My financial security took the biggest hit because of my cancer. Before becoming ill, I worked two jobs and had a husband. After my diagnosis, my husband left me. He couldn't deal with it. I had to stop working so I lost everything. Thankfully, with strong support from my daughter, I've overcome a lot of obstacles. I received chemotherapy for a couple months and then my body rejected it. My doctor started immunotherapy on me and my body has responded very well. He says I'm a miracle. I have the greatest doctor in the world.
