Victor Waters, M.D., J.D., F.C.L.M. has more than 30 years of clinical experience in both internal and emergency medicine. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brown University in Providence, R.I., medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and a Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University Law School in Newark, N.J.
Dr. Waters is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Legal Medicine. He is also a Fellow through the American College of Legal Medicine (ACLM) and admitted to the New York Bar. He holds a faculty appointment as Assistant Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California Riverside, Riverside California.
Dr. Waters is Chief Medical Officer at the St. Bernardine Medical Center located in Los Angeles California, part of CommonSpirit Health, the largest nonprofit system in the US. With over 20 years of administrative experience, Dr. Waters is actively engaged in complex medical operations, including regulatory, medical liability and medical staff issues. With extensive media training, Dr. Waters is regular interviewed by news media, more recently speaking about the Covid pandemic and the vaccines.
Dr. Waters is also passionately involved with issues related to health inequities. He is a member of the CommonSpirit National Diversity and Inclusion Council.
Dr. Waters is CEO and Founder of Law-4-Docs.com, providing on-line risk mitigation courses for providers nationally and internationally.
Dr. Waters is CMO of Hangenix solutions, a start-up digital healthcare company with an effective ultrasound-based monitoring system, designed to improve hand hygiene compliance.
