Lung Association Raises the Bar at Fight For Air Climb with Inaugural Law Firm Challenge

Legal professionals across the Chicagoland invited to accept the challenge to end lung disease

The American Lung Association is raising the bar at this year’s Fight For Air Climb Chicago, locally presented by UnitedHealthcare. This year, the June 22nd event at Soldier Field will include an Inaugural Law Firm Challenge.

Chicagoland law firms and law schools are encouraged to step up and accept the challenge. In this friendly but fierce fundraising competition, participating law firms, law schools and legal departments will compete to see who can not only climb to the top the fastest but raise help end lung disease.

Teams must include at least four climbers, and can include colleagues, clients and other community members. All climbers must pay the individual registration fee (base price = $35) and meet or exceed the individual fundraising minimum ($150) by event-day to participate. The firm that raises the most funds for the Lung Association by Wednesday, June 25 at midnight will not only win bragging rights for a year but will also win a travelling trophy to keep and display until next year’s event.

“Our new Law Firm Challenge is about uniting the legal community for a purpose that transcends billable hours,” said Danielle Trojanek, Executive Director of the American Lung Association in Greater Chicago. “Whether you’re a senior partner or a first-year law student, this is your chance to not only climb for just but for lung health.”

The Law Firm Challenge is a fun opportunity to build team spirit and current participants include Quarles, Holland & Knight LLP, and Vogelzang Law. Enter your firm today at https://fightforairclimb.org.

Climbers of all ages and fitness levels will take on 1,600 steps at the Fight For Air Climb Chicago to raise awareness and funds for clean air and lung health. All funds raised will support the American Lung Association’s mission to improve lung health and support the more than 1.5 million Illinoisans living with lung disease.
