Clean air is not a prescription any physician can write, yet it is a treatment that many of my patients need. As a physician, I see firsthand the direct health effects of worsening air pollution on patients and the breathing problems it can cause, such as with worsening asthma exacerbations. Breathing complications are not just a lifestyle issue. For some, it can be a life threatening issue; it is for this reason that I devote so much of my time and energy to advocating for clean air.
