Who Are We?

The Lung HelpLine is staffed with licensed registered nurses, respiratory therapists and certified tobacco treatment specialists. In addition, there are bilingual Spanish speaking staff along with a live language interpretation service for over 250 languages.

Our knowledgeable staff have a wide-range of experience in the healthcare industry, and it's our mission to provide thorough answers to all of your lung-health related questions and connect you to the resources you need. 

  • COVID-19 questions and guidance on where to obtain a COVID-19 vaccine in your area. 
  • Quitting smoking and all forms of tobacco, including e-cigarettes and vaping.
  • Financial aid, medical equipment and health insurance questions.
  • Finding a doctor, medical specialist or healthcare center.
  • Oxygen therapy resources.
  • Managing chronic lung conditions, such as asthma, COPD, lung cancer and pulmonary fibrosis.
  • Connecting with support groups.
  • Questions about medications, respiratory therapy and pulmonary testing.
  • Connecting with local resources to ensure continuity of care.

Lung Health Navigator Program

Our Lung HelpLine Navigators empowers people to understand and manage their lung health. We offer FREE one-on-one education programs to support those living with lung disease including COPD and asthma.

Lung Cancer Screening

If you smoke or have ever smoked, low-dose CT lung cancer screening could save your life. Our Lung Health Navigators can help determine if you are eligible for screening and guide you each step of the way.

We also assist employers help their employees quit tobacco use. The Freedom From Smoking® Worksite Telephonic Program offers one-on-one specialized professional telephone counseling through the Lung HelpLine. We've helped corporations, the military, hospitals and other organizations to help the individuals they serve become tobacco-free for life.
