Advocacy Day 2026 Call Script

Thank you for calling your Senators and Representatives in Washington as part of the 2026 LUNG FORCE Advocacy Day!  We have three asks for Congress this year:  

1. $51.3 billion for lifesaving research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH)
2. $11.6 billion for critical public health prevention programs at the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC)
3. Improve access to quality, affordable healthcare

In order to maximize the effectiveness of your calls, please call Wednesday, March 25. 

NOTE: You can find the name and phone number of your Members of Congress through this website. Enter your voting address, and on the page that comes up next, you will find the contact information for each member. Please only call the office of the two Senators and one House member that represent your state and congressional district (three calls total) on Wednesday, March 25.  

Recognizing that some offices ask constituents to leave messages, be sure to leave a message if you don’t reach a live staff person.
