Advocacy Day 2025 Call Script

Thank you for calling your Senators and Representatives in Washington as part of the 2025 LUNG FORCE Advocacy Day!  We have three asks for Congress this year:  

1. Protect lifesaving research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH)
2. Protect critical public health prevention and protections at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC)
3. Protect Medicaid health coverage

In order to maximize the effectiveness of your calls, please call on Wednesday, April 9. 

NOTE: You can find the name and phone number of your Members of Congress through this website. Enter your voting address, and on the page that comes up next, you will find the contact information for each member. Please only call the office of the two Senators and one House member that represent your state and congressional district (three calls total) on Wednesday, April 9.  

Recognizing that some offices ask constituents to leave messages, be sure to leave a message if you don’t reach a live staff person. 

We’ve created 2 different scripts for you to use – one for your two Senators and the other for your Representative (your House member).

For Your 2 Senators
