Dr. Dave Cury is associate professor in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the University of Florida - Jacksonville. He attended medical school at the University of Miami and completed his residency and fellowships in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. He has been on faculty at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville for 34 years. During that time, he has been the chief of the Pulmonary Division for 21 years, chief of the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine for 22 years, and program director of the Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship Program for 11 years. He has had an active research program in COPD and asthma studies and more recently idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
